Soccer Analytics update

I’m giving a talk at the Princeton Soccer Conference this weekend and will be reprising my talk on whether sports analytics is more like science or alchemy.

Since last year I’ve reworked a lot of my analytics examples using Python rather than R – which has been fun.

I’m attaching the data and Python code for predicting the results for the current Premier League season.
